Can I keep my data in the EU with Kinsta?

Kinsta lets you choose a datacenter region, including European regions, and Kinsta runs on Google Cloud Platform. Because Google is a US-based operator, data it holds or controls can fall under the US CLOUD Act regardless of the region you select. That is the transfer concern Schrems II raised. If EU jurisdiction over both the servers and the operator is your requirement, a European-operated host meets it more directly.

What about WP Engine and data location?

WP Engine is based in Austin, Texas, and runs on US-owned hyperscalers, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud. As with any US-based operator, selecting a European region sets where the servers sit but not who legally controls the infrastructure. Check WP Engine's own documentation for their current regions and terms.
